Sink Strainers are instruments connected in the sink that restricts solid materials from entering the drainage pipes. Such type of installation of Strainers require tightening with the help of a locknut wrench or a wrench will make do incase a locknut wrench is not available.
  

• Locknut Strainer with Screw Attachment: Some Strainers are attached with a locknut screw that is threaded to the bottom of the sink by hand and later tightened with screws. Screws are fastened to attach the Strainer to the sink by applying pressure on the Strainer.
